September Favorites 2012 ♥

Welllll since my birthday was in September, a LOT of my favorite items that I received in September were from that day.  So you saw a lot of those in my Birthday Haul post.  However, there IS one item that you didn't see, so I'll list that one first and then go on to describe the presents I got for my birthday. :)

Jason's Aloe Vera Oil
For like, no apparent reason my hair gets super dry (especially at the ends) and tends to react like blond hair, even though it's brown.  I usually have to do an oil treatment...gosh...nearly every time I wash my hair.  My hair is even so dry that I don't have to wash it everyday.  This aloe vera oil has been working super well for me lately.  It's very thick, but I put it on before I go to bed the night before I take my shower and it totally moisturizes my hair and leaves it feeling smooth.

Owl Ring
I got this ring for my birthday, and ever since I got it I've been wearing it nearly everyday.  It's a bit big for me, but I stack a silver band with it which holds it on really well (and the band is barely noticeable unless you're looking close).  This owl ring is silver so it matches nearly EVERYTHING.  It also adds a bit of whimsy to my wardrobe which matches my personality.

Owl City and Cage the Elephant CDs
More items I got for my birthday.  I've listened to these CDs soooo much because I've just been enjoying driving around town and listening to my music (like an introvert).  My favorite one is The Midsummer Station because I absolutely adore the music AND the lyrics Owl City has written in the songs included.  Thank You, Happy Birthday (from Cage the Elephant) is an album I enjoy listening to in the car better because it has so many drums/guitar riffs that are absolutely a ball to listen to while driving.  And All Things Bright and Beautiful (another Owl City CD) I've only listened to in the car a few times, but it's so sweet and dreamy and makes me absolutely happy.

Fossil Bag
This bag is adorable!  I love the pink color, and I can really carry it with like all of my outfits (which is kind of surprising since it is, after all, pink).  I love the rose gold hardware, including the big, bold signature Fossil key that dangles from the side of the bag.  There are so many pockets inside, too!  It's starting to replace my Calvin Klein bag which I'd been carrying since I was 15 (even though I HAD other bags to carry, it was always my favorite).

Anddd yeah!  Those are my absolute favorites from September. By the way, don't forget to ask me questions here on this post. :)

Good to know about that Jason products (their line is usually very trustworthy!) as I always have dry ends when I get through washing my hair also. Thanks for the tip, Lydia.
