It's time for Battle of the Boots! In this first part we're going to start with ankle boots. I don't really like this style with shorts - I like it with pants or leggings. Above you can see the gorgeous Ms. Halle Berry sporting them just the way I like. Below are some more cool pairs. :)

I love ankle boots! Oh you don't like it with shorts? Why? does it look ugly? I wear shorts often, never worn shorts with ankle boots but I was thinking of doing so with wedge ankle boots or maybe skirt or dress.

I have to admit I have never worn ankle boots like the ones above. I have always worn the longer pair. Like the UGG style. I just don't know if I could pull it off. But Battle of the Boots sounds interesting!

I love ankle boots! I'm actually really enjoying the trend this year where a lot of fashion bloggers are wearing ankle boots/booties. In contrast, at school I see everyone wearing tall boots. I guess it's easier to coordinate with tall boots, but I find it a lil boring. ankle boots are a fun way to spice it up :)

@Meeline: I don't think it looks ugly, but to me ankle boots are more of a fall fashion and it can look a little strange because shorts are worn in the summer. Also, I think it would need to be worn with short-shorts so that your legs looked long enough, and I don't always feel comfortable wearing shorts like that out. But if you wanna try it, go for it! You might change my mind. :D
